So long, KOBA….

Last week, we handed out our keys. Finally the KOBA is closed. Thank you for your visit, support and interest.

Am I sad? well, naturally yes, a bit. It was funny to see the empty room once again, after 14 months. When it is empty, it is hard to believe so many things happened in this space, so many faces came in and out, so many things discussed, so many glasses of wine spilled…. and again, the space is empty waiting for it to be filled for the next story to happen.

Everything has a beginning and an end. I am now looking forward for the next beginning of our next story. And even the KOBA project has ended, it does not mean what we started there ends. We were happy to meet so many new faces, and becoming families faces. I was thrilled to engage with so many interesting discussions. Please keep in touch. The story continues to the new story.

Our studio is temporally moved to Mika’s place and now looking for a new studio space. Hopefully we can come back to you with a news of our new studio. “E-Textile tailorshop KOBA” project is finished, but we will continue working as KOBAKANT in the field of e-textile exploring and experimenting with this medium. Please keep an eye on our website and newsletter for our next steps.
