Sensor Glove

I am developing textile sensor glove/ inner garment to input the ANN garment. Above is prototypes of a glove made with power mesh and stretch Lycra to capture hand gesture for the ANN sleeve prototype. The sensor is made with eeonyx stretch fabric (piezo resistive) with stretch silver conductive fabric stripes as conductor. It gives a good range of 10k – 200k ohm. The sensor is connected to the sleeve through metal poppers.

The final inner garment material is not as stretchy as power mesh, so I need better fitting pattern. I bought a kitchen rubber glove and dissected it to get the pattern. It worked out quite well.
