By Andrea Komlosy

In this book, she analyses the type of occupation/job/work in the historic context. What I found very interesting is her remark on how care-taking jobs inside the household fell out of the economically compensated work, and until now it is seen as low-paid job, such as child care related jobs, house cleaning jobs, nurse and care takers at the hospitals and old people’s house.
